The flags issued to this unit at the start of their service, were made by gilbert hubbard & co of chicago and, s. F. White & brothers also of chicago. The national flag made by hubbards follows the standard pattern adopted by the union army. It has no honours, only the regimental designation painted in gold. This flag would see service until june 1863. The regimental flag made by s.F. White carries not the state seal of wisconsin but the national arms the unit designation appears on a golden scroll beneath the national arms. As with the national flag it would be replaced in june 1863.The originals are housed in the wisconsin veterans museum, madison, wisconsin.
