A total loss of, 293 men in service. The flags of this unit follow the known pattern for maine troops during the war. The national flag is a silk example, which is believed to have been carried by the unit at gettysburg. The flag is unusually devoid of adornment, with no battle honours or regimental designation. The regimental flag, follows the nation flag with the eagle as a central image as with the national flag it bears n designation or battle honours. Both flags are held by the maine archives in augusta, maine.
